Paphos Odeon is a 2nd century amphitheatre made of limestone, it has a seating capacity of approx 1200, Paphos Odeon was discovered and restored during 1974-75, Paphos Odeon is semi circular in shape and is a good tourist spot as you not only get to see an ancient marvel but also theatrical and musical performances which are quite common here.
The Paphos Odeon hosts an annual choir festival, Choirs not only from Cyprus but across the world come over to participate in this annual festival during the month of June. Another interesting festival at the Odeon is the Rhythms of light festival, dancers perform here every Wednesday during the summer months, the light festival at the Odeon reminds us of the culture of Cyprus and is not to be missed, the Odeon is open daily between 9am-5pm hours and during summers between 9am-7:30pm.
