Old Venetian Camel Trail
The Old Venetian Camel Trail is half a day adventure trip, to start on this jeep safari you need to find a driver with the government authorized road map to lead your trail to this simply beautiful trail, this trail has amazing scenic beauty in some of the remotest parts of the island, on this track you will also cross the southern part of the Chryssorogiatissa monastery.
There are three venetian brigdes which you cross while exploring this trail which are called Kelephos, Roudias and Elea, the bridges were constructed to allow load carrying animals (especially camels) to carry copper from the mines located in the Troodos mountains to the main city of Paphos, so if you want to enjoy unexplored countryside this is one excursion which is recommended.
